Service Agreement Computer setup/repair service is provided as a service, and is done on a first-come, first-served basis. We pride ourselves in having a 3 to 7 days turnaround for hardware repairs, and 1 day turnaround for software installations. However, it may takes longer if part(s) is needed to replace for your equipment as we do not have all the parts in stock. Most shipping is received varies from 5 to 28 days from manufacturer. There may be circumstances under which we are not able to repair your computer. We cannot predict how long it will take to repair your computer. When your computer is ready, we will call you to come and pick it up. In the meantime, please do not contact us to ask when your computer will be ready, as our office personnel will not be able to tell you. If you do not wish to wait, you may retrieve your computer at any time. If you need same day service, or need your equipment back in a hurry, we will be happy to put yours ahead of the line for an additional charge. However, depending on the nature of the problem, it may or may not be fixed the same day.
You understand that you may try to fix your computer yourself using instructions from San San Computer. You have read the warranties for all equipment on which you have asked us to work. You understand how those warranties will be affected by having us work on the equipment. You understand that in the process of working on your computer equipment, there is a potential for data loss. You have made the necessary backups of your data so that, in the event of such loss, you can restore the data. You authorize us to install anti-virus and any other necessary software on your computer. You understand that we must report to the proper authorities any illegal software or data found on your computer. You release San San Computer and its staff from all liability for any and all damages to your personal property that may occur while working on your computer equipment.
Returns All equipment sold by the San San Computer is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. San San Computer will exchange or refund the purchase within 14 days of the sale date. Your original receipt is required for all returns, exchanges and warranty repair services. Details as follows:
Unopened Software: Current versions of unopened software may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. San San Computer will not accept any returns on open box software.
Defective Software: Defective software will be exchanged for the same title and version within 30 days of purchase.
Unopened Hardware: Unopened hardware may be returned within 14 days of purchase. San San Computer will not accept any returns on open boxes of hardware.
Defective Hardware: All hardware deemed defective by us within 14 days of purchase will be repaired or replaced according to manufacturer’s warranty. After 14 days all defective hardware will be repaired under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Restocking Fees There is no restocking fee for defective (as determined by our staff) products if returned within 14 days of the sale date. If found non-defective, a restocking fee of 15% will be charged.
Damaged Product Fees A 15% damaged product fee will be charged for any product missing the original box, packaging material, and /or manuals (i.e., any product not in “like new” condition)*.
Minimum Charges San San Computer technicians will work on your computer to the best of their abilities; however San San Computer does not guarantee that its technicians will be able to solve the problem or problems that your computer is experiencing. In the event we cannot fix your computer, a $45 troubleshooting fee will be assessed. The troubleshooting fee can be waived upon agreement. Initial diagnostic is always free of charge. However, If customer decided not to repair/replace the hardware after the repair agreement, a minimum charge of $45 will be charged. Same day service is available for additional charge.
Custom Configured Products We are pleased to offer product custom configured to your specifications, and encourage you to review your order carefully. Since the product is built to your specifications the order cannot be changed, modified or cancelled once your order is in production.
Personal Data San San Computer does not accept responsibility for loss of personal data or installed software applications that may be on your computer’s hard drive. You are responsible for making sure that any critical data is backed up before bringing your computer in, and also for providing copies of any licensed software. All program licensing is the customer’s responsibility.
You may experience DATA LOSS depending on the problem you are having. Hard drive failures and file corruptions are common. San San Computer IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST DATA. Customers should keep a back-up of their important files before the device is sent to San San Computer. If you need us to do a backup of your data, we will copy all of your user library folders. It is your responsibility to let us know what data needs to be backed-up. Please keep in mind that programs cannot be backed-up. Due to the volatile nature of computer repairs, San San Computer. is not responsible for ANY LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA before, during or after repairs.
Personal Belongings Customer is responsible to pick up all their belongings after the service has performed. San San Computer is not responsible for the subsequent loss of any items that you may leave behind. Any device that did not picked up within 30 days of completion will become property of San San Computer.
Repair Warranty San San Computer guarantees work for 90 days after pickup, or if otherwise mentioned on a written invoice. If the problem with your machine reoccurs outside of that time-frame, we will apply the previous charge to the new service provided. The warranty covers all hardware and labor given for a repair job. Re-infection of viruses or malware is not covered under San San Computer.’s repair warranty. San San Computer retains sole discretion as to the specific application of a given repair warranty. All other warranties are stated at time of purchase or service. If there is an additional charge, you will be notified before the work is done. San San Computer does not accept responsibility for any damage to your computer’s hardware or peripheral devices. Please remove all cables, CD’s, thumb drives and other media before bringing in your PC.
Manufacturer Warranty San San Computer does not do warranty work for any manufacturer, example: Dell, HP, Gateway, Acer, Toshiba, Sony, Asus, Samsung, Apple, etc… It is the customer’s responsibility to check to see if one’s equipment is under warranty. If we find out the equipment is covered, we may order the parts from the manufacturer and install them, but you will be responsible for the cost of labor to replace the part. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE WARRANTY FROM THE MANUFACTURER WILL BE VOID AFTER THE REPAIR IS DONE. If you notify us after we worked on a piece of equipment that it is under warranty, you are responsible for both the parts and labor if the parts were installed.
